In addition.... I addressed eBay's latest info regarding their new "Intermediate Payment Processing" stating that nothing new in more detailed info has been released, such as how long sales payments will be held. To date, the same is true.
In this blog, I will continue to address actions to take by start dates about "eBay Stores" "Seller Protections" and "Growth Tools".
eBay Stores - May 1st
New Starter Store Subscription - Allows up to 100 insertion-free listings. Over 100 listings insertion fees are $0.30 each. A yearly subscription breaks down to $4.95/mo while a monthly subscription is $7.95/mo. This Starter Store Subscription doubles the amount of insertion-free listings without a store and access to all store features.
Basic Store Subscription - Annual Subscription will increase from $19.95 to $21.95. Monthly Subscription Fee will increase from $24.95/mo to $27.95/mo.

Seller Protections - June 1st
FREE RETURNS - When you offer FREE Returns, eBay will provide a Partial Refund option if a buyer uses or damages an item and requests a return or escalates it... then eBay will take it from there. Plus eBay will protect from negative feedback. This applies to all listing sales where shipment and tracking number are on time, even if it was delivered late. Since the majority of dropship suppliers accepts returns despite conditions these seller protections will rarely occur.
ACTION: You should add more to your Free Return Policies to prevent them from starting a return, such as;
Its important to note that even though eBay offers Sellers the Partial Refund on products used or damaged, your final value fees will not be credited and who would want to offer a partial refund to a buyer who clearly abused the product? So tread carefully if you decide to offer a partial refund. Work your numbers in profit/loss.
Otherwise, send emails to buyer asking a series of questions to show you tried to resolve return request with full intention to have buyer escalate where you will be protected without offering a partial refund.

As I previously mentioned in 2018 Spring Seller Update (pt 1) the amount of changes resembles more like a Face-lift, with so many changes to eBay's Selling Platform, eventually over time up to 2021, dropshippers will no longer receive sales payments automatically in your PayPal Accounts, causing you to bank roll yourself until eBay chooses to release your funds.
