Recently there's been a "buyer scam" with requesting a refund directly to a seller claiming either "not received" or "damaged".
The common thread within the buyer scam is they usually send intimidating messages threatening to leave negative feedback and insist they are refunded and/or replaced immediately. (Negative feedback can be removed) ...AND then refuse to return the item.
This scam is designed to intimidate (usually new) sellers into either making it so miserable to satisfy them, sellers will just refund or replace before going through the return process.
Many suppliers will replace a damaged item with photos submitted, immediately.
But it doesn't end there.........
Buyer comes back with replacement received damaged claim again and again. Before you know it, the buyer now has 2 or three of the items that were never damaged and now comes back with a refund request directly to the seller or through eBay.
And worse yet, some, refuse to be "more inconvenienced" in returning the item.
Either way, by attempting to satisfy a customer, sellers experience a lot of time wasted and/or loss profits while the buyer has 3 or more items for the cost of one.
Especially if you are a new eBay DropShip Seller, don't be so "eager" to satisfy a customer, without following specific procedures to prevent and protect yourself.
